LID!!!!!!

As of today,we are LID!!! 9.9.13 is our official Log In Date so we are logged into the system in China and eligible to receive referrals (files on waiting orphans that may be a good potential match for our family). So exciting! Time from LID to being matched is averaging around 4 months (could be anywhere from now to 7 months) but now it is possible for it to happen any time so that is really exciting for us.

I texted our sweet social worker in a moment of weakness (I tell myself not to bug them, they'll let us know when something happens!) to check in on our progress toward log-in. She called to check for us and when she called, they told her we had just been logged in less than 2 minutes before she called!!!!!! (((As a sidenote - if you are considering adoption, we LOVE Lifeline Childrens Services!!)))

I feel like as time goes on in this adoption and we reach more milestones, I am moving from being somewhat patient mama of 2 toddlers already (so, super excited and ready, but not in a huge rush) to being crazy excited to have our girl and a little impatient to just get there already!!! :) .....you may not want to be around me once we are matched and waiting to travel -FYI.

Please be in prayer for the people who will be prayerfully working toward matching our family with a child, and for us that when we receive her information we will know without a doubt that she is the right child for our family.
