Consulate Appointment!

Good Morning!

We had our Consulate Appointment this morning!!! It was pretty quick and easy....We took our oath as a group, did the papers and fingerprints, and we were on our way.  This is the final requirement here and tomorrow Sadie's visa will be delivered to us just in time to check out and start our 30 hour journey home. We check out at 4pm tomorrow/Friday (3am your time)  - just over 24 hours from now!!! Yay!!

When we hit US soil, this girl will be a US citizen!

I meant to write this before because I thought it was funny, and just remembered it as we are getting ready to pack things back up. In both the Beijing and the Taiyuan airports, when we put our big bags of medicine (all the recommended "in case" medicines) through the security check, they took out the bigger liquid bottles (melatonin and robitussin) and motioned like they were drinking it and held it up to us and said something like "you drink?" and we kept saying yes, you drink them. We finally realized they were asking us to drink some, I guess to make sure it was safe? Haha. When we didn't drink it, both times they just smelled it and said "it's ok". :) We'll see how our adventures in travel go this time while adding a toddler!! Please pray for smooth travels and for sleep on the plane!!!
