Our Adoption

Also, our shirts are in and are in the process of being delivered to everyone who ordered! They are so fun...I spent so long going through the huge box of  t-shirts. We have sold 83 of them!  Thank you so much for your generosity in supporting our adoption!! We hope you like them! Our goal was to sell 100 so we are not too far from it!! We will place one more order in the next few weeks so there is still time to order if you are interested!

Our social worker let us know that she completed our Home Study write-up and sent it in for approval. So...hopefully by the beginning of May it will be officially complete and accepted. We have been finished with our part of it and just waiting for it to go through the proper channels now. We also got instructions on starting to apply for our 1-800-A. My basic understanding of this is that it is an application for immigration to give us permission to adopt an orphan from another country and bring them into our country. Later, after we have been matched with a baby, we will do a different application for permission to adopt that specific child and bring her into our country.

A friend who is also adopting from China through Lifeline was recently matched with their little 26 month old girl. So exciting, it made it seem so real and so close. We are so excited for them!
